US report plays down Iran threat
Synopsis:
The declassified summary of the report, which draws together information from the US's 16 intelligence agencies, says with "high confidence" that Iran stopped its nuclear weapons programme in 2003 "in response to international pressure".
No way. These are the same people who gave Colin Powell all that yellow cake info that he used at the UN in those glory days between 9-11 and the Iraq War. Right? Did the restructuring of the Intelligence organizations here in the US actually work? Have logic and reason returned to this once-great country of ours? Because I'm cynical as hell about my homeland and if this report gets ignored, or worse yet turned around by the Bush Administration and they just go ahead and bomb Tehran, I'm moving to the Netherlands. I'll learn Dutch and get a nice job selling wooden shoes to tourists. But I'll be gone, America. Because I've had just about enough incompetence and cruelty for one lifetime, and at least in Holland I know my taxes are going to things like health care and public transportation, not Blackwater and wars of convenience.
I mean, this report should fill me with something, right? What is it again? Rhymes with rope or dope or something?
Nevermind. I need to go to bed.

Ahh, Dennis Kucinich- you are fighting the good fight trying to impeach Cheney, you are in a dogged pursuit if the White House, and your wife is hot- a true red-headed porcelain goddess. I don't have enough pictures on my blog (reasonable justification, right?), so here she is:
But enough blogospheric gawking at Kucinich's wife- its Dennis' relentless pursuit of holding our leaders accountable that is the subject, not his surprisingly young, beautiful wife. Kucinich is scolding the Bush Administration for the revelation over this report on Iran.
