It's cold outside

On NPR yesterday the resident meteorologist discussed the nigh record breaking temperature dip. Between January 29th and January 30th, within a 24 hour period, temps dropped 49 degrees. This was the second most extreme drop in a 24 hour period EVER in documented Minnesota history.

Back in 1903 temps dropped 51 degrees within a 24 hour period, which still holds the record.
