Homie '08

So here are some snapshots I took along the way this year at Homie Fall Fest '08.

That's Sammy sharing the love. If he would have flipped me off with both hands we could call it sign language for his place of employment, One on One. But he didn't. Dick.

This is B Rose schlepping his way up one of the many steep hills that weren't Big Dummy friendly.

My baby looking cute in the sun. This pristine field was filled with Homie participants who might have thought it was the final destination. Those who did were so very, very wrong.

This was the site of one of many derbies. It is also a very poor shot of the action. Just imagine a lot of people riding in a circle around a bunch of sculptures being shouted at by GenO armed with a megaphone.

This is Erika. She was a Gretel looking for a Hansel. Full-on Homie spirit!

This was the gold at the end of the rainbow. Yes, that is a donut covered in bacon. Why weren't you at Homie this year again?

Kelly Mac doing her thing.

Schreiner and Hurl doing their "thing"... Schreiner was dressed as Schreiner. Hurl was also dressed as Schreiner. It was kinda Single White Female. Remember that movie?

What? Is that the first transgendered member of the Blue Man Group?!? Nope, that's the one and only Nick Sande, handing out donuts and making sure everyone was getting smurfed up.

All in all, Homie was once again an amazing orgy of bikes, comraderie, outdoors and mind-alteration. To those chosen few who lead and (dis)organized this event, my hats off to you.
