The Shockspital

B.Rose and the Shockspital presented me with a fork that has got me more excited about hitting the dirt than I have been in quite some time. For one thing, I've never had a suspension fork. I've been riding rigid for awhile now. I even rode trails in Fruita and Moab rigid. So the addition of this fork is a new experience for me. I guess more seasoned riders would say I'm about 20 years behind on my technology, and I would have to say that is generally the way I do things. Not that I'm a luddite, I'm just cheap.

Well, a while back, B.Rose told me he had a fork for my bike, he just needed to track down some parts. He said I was getting the fork because it matched my frame. And, to my surprise, he was going to just give it to me. The fork in question, a Rock Shox Psylo, is definitely something he could have sold for a decent wad of cash, but instead he gave it to me. Whatta guy.
